Ms. Hannah

Ms. Hannah grew up in Arenzville, IL where she attended Triopia Jr. &  Sr. High School. She started dancing
around in the living room at the age of 3 and her parents thought it’d be a great idea to put her in lessons. Soon
after, Hannah began taking tap, ballet, and gymnastics. As she got older, Hannah became captain of her high
school dance team and president of her class and student government. During high school, Hannah performed in
every school musical production, while choreographing for her local community theatre. Hannah started
counseling at a Christian Performing Arts Camp her freshman year of high school during the summer.  At the
Camp, she also taught dance sessions. Hannah plans continue teaching at the camp for years to come.  This
summer Hannah is hosting private camps for a few high schools.  She will be teaching competition routines,
technique, and a presentation on Injury Prevention and the importance of stretching. Ms. Hannah is a dance
major at SEMO and has taken master classes with DecaDanceTheatre, Susan Quinn, and Victor Alexander with
Maray Gutierrez. Hannah has taken part in all of SEMO’s main stage dance productions, as well as
choreographed for two of these shows. In the future, she aspires to open her own studio for mentally challenged
and handicapped children. (Hannah is getting married in July and will follow her husband wherever he goes to
medical school and will begin the process of making a difference in children’s lives through dance.) Hannah
says she is so anxious to get started and get to know her little princesses in the studio!
