Providing Fun & Quality Dance Education to SE Missouri since 2005!
At KSPA, our philosophy is to educate students in a positive
environment.  Children and adults are encouraged to  be self-motivated
and to develop a sense of personal accomplishment which celebrates
individual uniqueness through fine arts training.  Physically, students
will gain strength, coordination, flexibility, and good body alignment
from their training. Other benefits include self-confidence, poise, good
classroom manners, developing interpersonal relationships, and just

WHY Choose KSPA?

If most dance studios seem to have qualified, friendly teachers, experience teaching children
and a big show at the end of the year, aren’t they all pretty much the same? If so, does it really
matter which place you decide to enroll your child?

Yes. There are 6 main things that can make a huge difference in the quality of instruction your child
receives, the amount of extra work and hassles the parents must deal with and the overall enjoyment
and satisfaction of being involved with a dance program. Here are 6 things that every parent should
consider before deciding on a dance studio for their child.

What kind of life experience is your child receiving over all?
It is important to consider more than just what kinds of classes are offered
and the prices.

Our studio embraces a whole child philosophy. We know that dance classes may be only a small part of
an otherwise busy and often chaotic life. We strive to help you instill in your child good values, self
esteem and healthy, positive self expression. We constantly renovate and improve our facility and
provide our students and parents with the best experience possible.

We always try to be available to discuss any special needs or concerns, in short "we care".

Why do we do what we do?......................for your child and YOU!

Our mission to provide students of all ages with the skills
they need to enjoy dance for a lifetime.

We offer immediate assistance and cusomer service.

In many studios the teacher or the studio owner conducts classes and does the administration. By
offering auto-pay tuition, there is no waiting in line to pay on accounts.  KSPA offers complete
handbooks, newsletters, email updates, Calling Posts, and even a Facebook page to keep parents
current and up-to-date. To have a good experience it is important to choose a studio that can assist you
with details like costumes or schedules, even if a teacher is occupied in a class. Our studio offers
information at any time, so you can get immediate assistance.

One price costume fees.

We have a one price costume fee for your convenience. This allows you to know at the time of
registration the price of your child's costume.

Short, entertaining recitals.

The length of our dance recital is approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hours long. As parents we look forward to
seeing all of our endeavors come together at our year end performance. What an immense feeling it is
to see your child shine to their fullest ability on stage, in a short entertaining recital.

Our instructors are all accredited and the dance studio is safe.

Our teachers are fully accredited by dance programs, dance organizations or universities, our teachers
attend three or more dance educator's conventions per year.

One of the most important features of a dance studio is the type of flooring used.  We use sprung floors,
which have hundreds of compressed foam blocks under the surface that absorb the impact of dancing
and  help keep the teachers and students energized.  It is also a great form of injury avoidance.

Smaller class size.

If the dance class has fewer students in it each child will receive more personalized attention, learn more
and have more fun. With younger students it is easier for a teacher to maintain control over the class
and make sure each student understands the concepts and instructions. Our smaller class sizes make
sure that no fundamental concepts are being missed. A smaller class size also allows our teacher to
catch any problems before they turn into bad habits or improper techniques. Our Pre School and
special needs program class size is limited to a maximum of 8 students per class. without an assistant .
